Acer Vero and Predator Routers
The new Predator Connect W6, Predator Connect W6d and Vero Connect W6m join Acer’s range of high-speed wireless routers and will be useful for users who need a high-quality, secure and energy-efficient Internet connection.
With support for Wi-Fi 6E Triband AXE7800 (2.4 GHz/5 GHz/6 GHz), the Connect W6 models deliver up to 7.8 Gbps of throughput. The Predator Connect W6d utilizes AX6000 dual-band Wi-Fi 6 technology. Up to 4 devices can be connected to the routers. The coverage area is up to 465 m2 in a mesh network with two mesh devices and up to 930 m2 in a system with four mesh devices, eliminating the formation of so-called dead zones in rooms with a large coverage area.
Acer Connect Vero W6m Router
The routers are equipped with a modern 2GHz quad-core MediaTek A53 processor, 1 GB LPDDR RAM, and a 4 GB memory module, which is designed to meet the demands of high bandwidth. The devices feature enhanced security and data protection tools: Predator models come with the Trend Micro Home Security Engine built-in for life. The Acer Connect Vero W6m is the first device to be tested for compliance with EN 303 645 (RED) EU cybersecurity standard.
Acer Predator Connect W6 Router
The Predator Connect W6 and Predator Connect W6d routers feature a set of color-coded LED indicators that show signal strength. This provides greater visibility and allows you to adjust the antenna positions for the most efficient signal reception and transmission. With its minimalist gray design, the Acer Connect Vero W6m blends in with any work or home environment. The compact router body is made for 30 % of recycled plastic, and the packaging is made of paper and is fully recyclable.
